5 WAYS TO SAVE 5 MINUTES IN THE MORNING <=

5 Ways to Save 5 Minutes in the Morning

 

ARE YOU RUSHING AROUND IN THE MORNING SPRINTING OUT THE DOOR FORGETTING THINGS?

 

I HAVE 5 TIPS FOR YOU………

 

GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL!

 

Just so you know I’m a night owl –  always have been!

 

I love and enjoy to watch the stars at night and dream or curl upin my bed and dream up some of my most creative ideas during the late night.

 

Fredee is usually sleeping and snoring during this (Fredee is my best buddie – see pic)

However this past 6 months, I’ve been really focusing and creating some morning habits.

 

Many of my friends, go by the morning miracle routine yet that’s just way to early and routine for me in the morning.

 

Me, I like to get up later and have 20 mins for my coffee, candles, bath, read a paragraph of my current book, 5 mins to meditate. It’s supporting me with my enthusiasm for getting things done and my mental will power too! – GOALS!!

 

Now before, When I wake up, I scroll through facebook updates and notifications and then emails etc first thing and then coffee – definitely coffee~ smoothie and then scramble egg,

 

Now I have changed it up a bit – bath ( minus the candels – night-time only now, I read a paragraph of my current book, 5 mins to meditate. And my motivation and focus has grown!

 

Now – I know most of you reading this DO NOT HAVE SUCH TIME IN THE MORNING ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN.

 

I HAVE 5 TIPS THAT WILL HELP YOU SAVE TIME IN THE MORNING AND BE TIME SAVVY.

 

  1. What YOU wearing tomorrow?

If you’re anything like me, you can spend 10 minutes digging through your wardrobe and deciding what to wear.

Instead, lay out your work clothes and workout gear the night before and make sure all you have your favourite outfit to rock your day like a BOSS LADY and don’t forget to you’re your leggings, tops, and trainers too!

=> Also pack your lunch and snacks and breakfast so you can just grab it and go in the morning.

 

  1. Smoothie ready and Breakfast

I have a smoothie with (insert link to smoothiE recipe) most mornings. I’ve been really into thevery berry lately!

A little time-saving trick ~ you can get all your smoothie ingredients ready the night before and keep them in a jar in the fridge (or if you have a NutriBullet, you can put them in the container). Then all you need to do is blend in the morning!

Your creation also blends more smoothly if it’s been in the fridge overnight.

And of course I have my lunches for the week meal prepped and ready to go! I just portion everything out and pack it the night before.

 

  1. Coffee to go

I always start my day with espresso and no milk.

Then I have a keep it hot coffee cup holder to grab as I leave. That way it stays warm longer and I can reuse throughout the day too!

 

  1. Bed head

SO I’ve been trying out some heat-free hairstyles to add a bit more shine to my hair! This helps keep your hair strong, healthy and thicker too! Plus it saves major time in the morning.

At night when my hair is still damp, I’ll put it in a loose plat and sleep on it. When I wake up, I take it out, comb put a bit of hair spray and pop it up. Then, if some side waves need to be touched up, I just spray and go!

 

  1. Stop the snooze

Fredee loves the snooze button on a saturday…

It’s soooo tempting to hit the snooze button and snuggle back under the covers with this guy!

SWITCH THE SNOOZE OFF AND GET UP

Research shows that people who hit snooze end up feeling more tired because after snoozing you fall back into your sleep cycle and get interrupted just as your deep sleep hormones kick in.

This can leave you feeling MORE groggy throughout the day

 

So instead of waking up like                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     You’ll be feelin’ like…

 

Give them a go for a whole month and see the difference it makes and how you feel.
